Taikoo Shing City Plaza with my parents

It's sunday afternoon. My parents are in Hong Kong for a visit. They've been in Asia for a week and just returned to Hong Kong from a 3 night visit to Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur and Langkawi). \
We decided to go to our favorite foodcourt in Hong Kong which is in Taikoo Shing. This provides us the most variety in a single location. Started out with xiao lung bao. They were rolling the dough and forming the dumplings right in front of you. Took 10 minutes to steam them

Also ordered some pan fried dumplings

Ordered fried calamari which was made to order

Also had the Hainese Chicken Set (see 4/15 blog for picture). This included the chicken, chicken rice, soup, and steamed vegetables

After this sampling of food, we stopped at the dessert stall where dad and I split my favorite: mango/sago/grapefruit over shaved ice. Robin had a fresh pineapple juice, and mom got 3 custard tarts to share from the Breadtalk bakery.
