Sunday's Events

We started out in Sheung Wan. Mom bought some shoes and Dad bought a shirt. Then we stopped for lunch at Yeoh's Bah Kut Teh.
Bah Kut Teh is a chinese soup that's popular in Singapore and Malaysia. It translates into pork bone tea. It was served bubbling in a clay pot.

After lunch we took a walk to Man Mo temple and then a taxi to the Wan Chai computer center so I could buy a compact flash card for my new camera. Stopped for some fish jook and a chinese donut wrapped in fresh made noodle for a snack. Then we stopped for another snack of a banana pancake at the Curry in a Hurry food stall.

For dinner we decided on Causway Bay Spicy Crab Restaurant. Ordered a dish of 2 live Mantis'. They bring out the fresh seafood to show you before they cook it. Here's what 1 of the giant mantis looks like before it's cooked

Here's the cooked version.

Steamed razor clams with vermicelli and garlic

Garlic and Chili Crab

Tofu balls that were fried. The outside had a very thin crust and the inside was silky tofu. Also ordered some fried calamari and sauteed water spinach

We had to walk around Causeway Bay to work off our meal and find room for dessert. We stopped at Beard Papa's Cream Puffs in the Sogo Dept store. Ordered 2 chocolate and 1 regular cream filled puffs
