One of my coworkers is from KL and was able to show us around.
Batu Caves are 3 caves formed of limestone. Inside the cave is a Hindu temple. There are 272 steps to the top
Monkeys line the route to the top and are begging for food
For lunch we had some indian food at a local food shop in an open air strip mall. You take whatever food you want and they tell you how much it cost when you are done. This was alittle more than $2 and the drink, 100 Plus, is like carbonated gatorade.
In the afternoon it's time for a snack. We stopped for Kaya Toast and coffee
This is the entrace to a street market. Similiar to the ladies market in Hong Kong
For dinner we stopped at a local restaurant. Had some fatty pork with something like taro in between
Preserved vegetables
Bak kut teh. Chinese: 肉骨茶.(Pork Rib Tea Soup)
